Walking Together
We all know we ought to be out there walking, getting some exercise and fresh air, but it can get a bit harder once the seasons turn. Our current restrictions and personal preferences may make it harder for us to walk with friends, gaining motivation and support, so we are inviting you to join our virtual walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path. There is a small charge to cover costs, and you will be invited to some Zoom gatherings where we can chat about our walking. UK-based participants will also receive some real postcards we have created specially to mark some of the landmarks along the way.

Walk for Life brings together three really important elements for our mental wellbeing: an opportunity to experience some of the wonderful nature we have on our doorstep, the exercise itself, and like-minded people to walk with. If you would like to be kept in touch with our plans and come along to join us, please get in touch, and join our Facebook group, which has the latest updates, and inspiration to get you out there and walking.

Walk for life first came together in January 2018, organised by Jude from Saddleworth Community Projects and led by Mark of Adventure Based Learning.

Walk for Life has recently secured funding from GMVCO, which will allow the project to continue, once we are able to meet face-to-face in greater numbers.
